Michael Clarke Duncan's last movie, 'The Challenger,' to open Dances With Films festival

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan -- who was nominated for an Oscar for his performance as John Coffey in "The Green Mile" -- on Jan. 28, 2003. He died of a heart attack in 2012 at age 54.

THE DEAL The late actor's final film is the opening-night selection for the Los Angeles festival Dances With Films, according to TheWrap. Duncan, an Oscar nominee for his role as a gentle giant in "The Green Mile," plays a boxing trainer who takes a struggling young man under his wing. The actor died of a heart attack in 2012 at the age of 54. The festival runs May 28 through June 7.
